This is part one of a two part workshop. In this part of the workshop we’ll prepare the metal and visit some ideas for manipulating the metal before printing. By taking advantage of the soft surfaces of these metals—within reason—the metal can be altered before printing. In turn these techniques will give you a good idea how to work with other metals.
