The background for my career as an artist started with fabric. This led me to carry the art from using fabric as a medium to creating and altering that medium, to digital printing on various surfaces, then to photography, altering these photographic images, and finally to using different print media (as altered) for my constructions.
On this journey, my passion for and experience at expanding the digital printed surface has become a central force in my art. For more than 15 years I have been studying, creating and making art with these digital processes which now incorporate elements of photography, image processing software and a myriad of printing devices and print media. Unusual alternative type of materials, many of them manipulated and recovered from found objects (such as soda cans, plastic, constructed fiber and materials) are used. I have developed the skill of using digital printers or for all types in the most unusual and creative ways.
I invite you to view my current artwork.
